Amalfi Coast in Country House

Amalfi Coast is a corner of paradise located about 300 km south of Rome, in Campania Region, on Salerno Gulf. A UNESCO site since 1997, it is characterized by its majestic mountains overlooking the sea, where are embedded 13 small villages, connected by a single road and a dense network of paths consisting mostly of stairs. It is an area rich of history for it was a place of residence for ancient populations, including Greeks and Romans. The abundance of water in its valleys, protected from the cold northern winds, make its climate mild in winter and not excessively hot in summer. The composition of the soil, which is very rich in minerals, contributes to making the local produce and its cuisine among the best in the world. Very restrictive laws have helped to safeguard the presence of residents and prevent tourism in the area. The experience of visiting the Amalfi Coast is therefore a total immersion in the most authentic Italy.
